NHS Sutton and Merton Equality Scheme consultation – 22 Ju
22 June 2010

The purpose of the Equality Scheme is to ensure that services we commission effectively address the following:

• Barriers to accessing health services
• Differences in patient experience
• Differences in health outcomes for different sections of the population
• Promoting equality and a working culture of anti-discrimination for all staff

We have produced a consultation document, and will be starting a 12 week consultation period with our staff, patients, public and partners from 22 June to 14 September.
